Meet the Artist

Horses inspired me to pick up a brush. They raised me from the time I was a baby and continue to shape my life. I grew up among Arabians, and when I was very young our herd grew to include Friesians and Andalusians. They are my dearest family and my spiritual guides, and every canvas begins in the barn, not the studio.

With oil, I strive to capture their presence: the soul of the horse, their sovereignty, their heart. The weight of a Friesian's feathering in motion, the proud arch of an Andalusian's neck, the quiet intelligence of an eye that sees into the soul. These belong to a being wholeheartedly proud and tender.

I paint horses as they are when no one is asking anything of them: free, whole, and unmistakably divine.

My work is a love letter to the horse.
